Besides sitting on your front porch or wharf and just relaxing with a cold brew, here is a long list of fun activities waiting for you to enjoy in and around the Cajun Cabins of Bayou Corne:
- Fish right off our tree shaded wharf on the Bayou.
- Take our canoe or pedal boat and move quietly down the Bayou and see nature up close… bring your camera.
- Take a driving tour of the unique French speaking community of Pierre Part & Belle River.
- Drive to Duffy’s Shell and get to meet the History Channel’s star of “Swamp People”, gator hunter, Troy Landry.
- Go “Down the Bay” (S. Bay Road) to “Driftwoodville” and see Adam Morales and his cypress driftwood creations.
- See the statue of the Blessed Mother on the Island in Pierre Part Bay.
- Go down Shell Beach Road (1016-2) and see beautiful Lake Verret!
- Visit nearby historic plantations:\
- Madewood Plantation (20 mins)
- Nottoway Plantation (20 mins)
- Ask about special arrangements for a local guided fishing trip or private bayou/swamp tour.
- How about a guided hunting trip – ducks, and even experience a GATOR HUNT!
- How about a campfire on the bayou bank and some night fishing?
- Drag racing at NO PROBLEM RACEWAY.

- Visit the Pierre Part Store – an old time general store in business since 1911!
